Job Description: Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated OR Services Leader to join the Labor and Delivery Unit. This role will be Full-time Night Shift: Full-time Night Shift: 40 hours per week, 2x12 and 2x8 hour shifts per week.. Relocation assistance available to eligible candidate.

Leads Operating Room services to ensure efficient unit operations and optimal patient outcomes
Delivery safe, high-quality, and cost-effective preoperative care
Serves as clinical leader, liaison, and resource for assigned surgical specialty/unit
Ensures compliance with quality, safety, regulatory requirements, and Joint Commission standards
Identifies and implements cost-effective strategies without compromising patient safety
Promotes innovation and continuous improvement in preoperative nursing practices
Coaches and mentors staff, supporting clinical decision-making and professional development
Utilizes AORN tools and best practices to drive high-quality surgical care delivery
Collaborates on emergency preparedness, training, and unit-specific drills
OR Service Leader Minimum Requirements:
Education Requirement: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Experience: Required 2 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Required Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | CNOR or equivalent specialty certification within 12 mos of hire
Required Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
OR Services Leader Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of recent Registered Nurse (RN) inpatient experience on a Labor and Delivery Unit.
BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing)
Previous Charge Nurse experience preferred
