Under the guidance of the Director of Emergency Services, accountable for the following, The Emergency Department concierge will assist the staff with services to patients/visitors with the goal of minimizing anxiety by creating an atmosphere that is as relaxing as possible. The concierge will assist staff running errands related to patient care and in escorting visitors to room and patients as they leave the department.
High School graduate.
Working knowledge of and experience in exceptional customer relations and interpersonal skills.
Presentation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
