Position is for a full time (.9) RN with a minimum of one year of OR experience. Position is for three- 12 hour days per week, 7a-730pm. Position also includes night and weekend call.
Responsible for circulating in the Operating Room for multiple specialties including: general, OB/GYN, urology, plastics, ortho, spine, vascular/ endo-vascular, breast, CT and robotics. Responsible to be in the on-call rotation for nights (11p-7a) and weekends, which is prorated on hours worked in the pay period. Experience with electronic documentation and having CNOR preferred. Scrub experience is a plus. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Education: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Successful completion of peri-operative course in an approved school Certifications / Licenses: - Current PA Registered Nurse license - Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) AHA for Healthcare Provider Certification Experience: - One or more years of OR nursing experience - Orthopedic, vascular, spine specialty experience preferred
